The BGSU
Interfraternity Council

The President

Eric Young became the 64th President of the Interfraternity Council on November 27, 2008.  Eric is a Senior Social Studies Education Major at Bowling Green State University. Eric has been heavily involved on campus during his time here, serving as both the Chief of Staff and Speaker of the Senate for the Undergraduate Student Government while holding several other leadership positions on campus. Within his chapter Eric was the founding father President of Alpha Tau Omega when they chartered on December 8, 2007 as well as former Philanthropy Chair, Secretary, Historian, and Community Service Chair

Having served on IFC Exec last year as the Vice President of Service and Involvement Eric hopes to see a continuation in the strides made by last years executive board. IFC has the potential to really assist the chapters in their endeavors, and Eric plans on doing that by allowing the Chapter Presidents to give their feedback and opinions about what’s going on within IFC or the Greek Community at any time. In dealing with the administration and other various outside sources Eric is continually advocating on behalf of the needs of IFC and the individual chapters. It is not only Chapter Presidents who Eric hopes to hear from as he is open to listening to any concerns from within the community, feel free to contact him at any time. Hopefully, by this time next year IFC will be a wonderful tool for the presidents as a forum to discuss issues within the community and how IFC Exec can help with the process of moving the community forward.
